Reproductive systems ORAL TEST

Next Wednesday you'll have to answer oraly this questions about the reproductive system:


REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM


1. What are the differences between men and women? Talk about sexual characteristics.

PRIMARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The genital organs (reproductive organs). We are born with them.

SECONDARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Other physical differences between men and women:

  • Men have facial hair, a deeper voice, more body hair and more developed muscles.

  • Women develop breasts and have wider hips, a higher voice and less body hair.

2. What is puberty?

It is the stage of life when reproductive organs become functional and secondary sexual characteristics develop.

It may take place between the ages of 10 and 14 in girls and 12 and 16 in boys. However, these ages differ from person to person.

3. What is fertilization?

Fertilization happens when a sperm cell joins with an egg cell.

4. Choose one of the reproductive systems' apron and explain its organs' function.

- FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

The ovary produces an egg and when it's mature it goes through the fallopian tube to the uterus. If it doesn't find any sperm, it goes out through the vagina. The vulva protects the inner part of the reproductive system.


- MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

The testis produce sperms, they run the sperm ducts and go through the urethra to go out the body. The penis is the organ than contains the urethra.
